While Debbie Eckert was my grandmother she was also so much more. She touched the lives of many people as well as my own, grandma was always so kind and and did whatever she could to help me and my siblings. I can remember when my mom and dad got divorced and I had no mother figure in my life. But From then on my grandma was just like a mother to me, I remember when she would teach me how to cook and bake and to sew. Grandma was always putting others first, always had patience with me, and was always there for me. Grandma’s middle name is Lynn and mine is Lynne. Even though my middle name is spelled differently than hers, I’ve always been so proud that they sound exactly the same. She is my grandma and will stay in my heart forever. Grandma Debbie was always so happy when my dad, my siblings, and I came to visit, I’m just glad that she was happy her last days. I love you grandma. Thank you for everything. I miss you so much and I think about you all the time, but I know I’ll see in heaven some day, face to face, and I’ll give you a big hug.
